PURPOSE: Delta Mu Delta is a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.
ELIGIBILITY: All Levels: Must be registered in the business program at a school with a Delta Mu Delta Chapter; must have completed one-half of the required degree course-work; must be in the top 20 percent of their class; must have 24 hours residency at the school.
Baccalaureate: Have a cumulative GPA of .25 above a "B" or better to comply with the above.
Graduate/Doctoral: Have a cumulative GPA of .60 above a "B" or better to comply with the above.
(Some chapters may require higher standards.)
MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Delta Mu Delta awarded $66,500 in 2018 through our Annual Scholarship Awards Program. Our members are offered the benefit to apply for a scholarship ranging from $500 to $3,000 each year.
Members are also encouraged to attend our networking receptions in various geographic locations through the calendar year.
