——  Strategic Planning - Future Environmental Scan  ——

ACHS needs many eyes on the future to identify emerging trends that will impact the strategic direction of ACHS.   For just two weeks (the last week of October and first week of November), we need your focused scanning on higher ed journals, trade magazines, scholarly research, internet sites, conversations with colleagues and other sources you have access to in order  to identify trends that are beginning to emerge in 2011 that will likely blossom in the next few years.

Which of these topics below interests you the most?

Choose one or two area(s) of focus below, complete and submit the form.  Once registered, mark your calendars for the last week of October and first week of November to put effort into your scanning contribution.  Further instructions will be sent as we move closer to the scanning period.

Once the scanning period has been completed, the ACHS planning team will review the input and translate the emerging trends into actionable knowledge in the context of ACHS and develop strategic issue statements to direct our planning process.  The strategic issue statements will juxtapose emerging trends with scholarship, leadership, research, service, and intra-campus collaboration.

Thanks for your willingness to join in this scanning effort!
