NSCS also provides students with a network of other members and alumni on their campus and across the country.

ELIGIBILITY: NSCS invites first- and second-year students who are ranked in the top 20 percent of their class and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Chapters plan a yearly Induction Convocation program for new members and their families in addition to academic, leadership, social and community service activities for members throughout the year. The national office coordinates a National Leadership Summit and Convention, educational trips abroad, an internship program in China and several corporate and graduate school partnerships that benefit members. NSCS also has an online magazine, The Collegiate Scholar, which features member submissions. Since 2006, NSCS has hosted Integrity Week, a program that promotes integrity at all its chapters across the United States.
