  1. The Psi Beta | Psi Chi collaboration grant. Background In order to encourage collaborative and cooperative activities and projects between Psi Beta and Psi Chi chapters, a Collaborative Grant has been established to help geographically close Psi Beta and Psi Chi chapters to plan and carry out a collaborative event. Grant funding provides seed money ($500) for collaborating chapter pairs ($250 to the Psi Beta chapter, $250 to the Psi Chi chapter). All applicants for the Collaboration Grant are automatically be entered in the Building Bonds Award Competition. The Collaboration Grant is open to all active Psi Beta chapters and Psi Chi chapters. Chapters are eligible for just one grant per year. Four collaboration grants are being awarded each academic year.
  2. The Psi Beta / Association for Psychological Science conference scholarship. Background - this scholarship was launched in 2014. The call for applications is sent out in early December. Psi Beta members who are still attending a community college and have been active in their Psi Beta chapter are invited to apply. The scholarship is designed to help students offset the cost of attending the annual meeting of the Association of Psychological Science and enable each scholarship winner to present a poster based upon a psychological study the student has conducted at his or her college. In 2014,the first year for this scholarship program, 10 students were selected and attended in the APS conference.
