Fellowships and Grants: Each fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis to an active Kappa Omicron Nu member who has demonstrated scholarship, research, and leadership potential. Awards will be made for study and research in the human sciences or one of its specializations at colleges or universities with strong research programs and supporting disciplines for the chosen major or topic. Fellowships are awarded for masters and doctoral study, and research; a doctoral dissertation fellowship is available for critical science research.

One or more research grants are awarded on a competitive basis to an active Kappa Omicron Nu member who meets the criteria of the Kappa Omicron Nu research agenda. Cross-specialization and integrative research is the research priority for the honor society. A new grant is for tenure track assistant professors to support research|creative activities agenda.
